The Great Reading Adventure

We are learning to write a moment in time about our class assembly, 'The Great Reading Adventure'.

Finally the day arrived, the great reading adventure, I was a bit shy but I got up on stage . When I  started to talk then I felt a bit better. The crowd went silent, the music came on and Jesse looked so sparkly I could barely  look at him. He  walked down the aisle. When that part finished the BFG music came on. I went  on stage and the crowd went silent when I did my part the stomping music came on the other giants were coming. Then I went and sit down and watched Maui and the sun then it was non-fiction, then the fairy tails, then Te Manga and te tinana did the duffy song. When we did the Duffy song butterflies were bombing in a pool in my tummy.

Tsunami Evacuation

We wrote a recount about our evacuation experience. 

Last Friday the whole school went up a hill because there was a tsunami warning. When I was walking up the hill I felt worried  and anxious at the same time. After when we got back to school my mum picked me and Cameron up we all went  up up nana and poppas tank hill. I wanted to go on my chromebook but I left it at school after we had enough on the hill we came to get my chromebook. I went back to my nanas and my dad was there so we helped poppa on his truck. When we were helping my poppa  I went up the hill and I rolled down the hill in the gorse then I went back to the house and got the binoculars. 

We looked at the beach it was brown and there was big waves me and dad went home to get our barbecue and we had a sausage for afternoon tea then we went out for dinner at Fresh and Tasty We had ten snapper and four scoops of chips it as delicious. Me and Cameron had a sprite mum had water poppa had a beer dad had a coca cola.

A protected beach has no rubbish it has got a lot of food

Tractor Trek - Big Feelings

We wrote a recount about our Tractor Trek experience. WALT add details to our writing and edit carefully

Last Friday lots of big tractors came to Paparore  School. There were Massey Ferguson and John Deeres There was a Ford and a Hummer H1 after looking at the tractors, everyone went  into the hall and a lady called cat was talking about Feelings when it Finished the School had assembly and then we left to go home and the tractors went past my house. I loved all the Tractors.
